Solihull’s first ever festival of iconic Land Rovers will take place this summer.
‘LR Fest’ will take place over the weekend of 22nd – 24th June, featuring rare vintage cars, an enthusiasts’ area for 4×4 fans, off-road driving experiences, outdoor cinema and family entertainment.
To add to the festival feel, internationally renowned market organisers, RR Events will be bringing the best of street food and bars to enhance the festival atmosphere.
The Festival is being held to celebrate Land Rover’s 70th Jubilee, and vehicle production in Solihull where millions of the multi-award winning cars have rolled off the factory lines at the Lode Lane plant.
Melanie Palmer, Director, Solihull BID, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Jaguar Land Rover to bring an amazing community experience to the people of Solihull and beyond. There will be lots of surprises and activities for everyone to enjoy, including off-road demonstrations for visitors to understand how these iconic vehicles handle challenging terrains.”
More details about the Solihull LR Fest will be released over the coming weeks and months.
